I used Fort Lincoln Funeral Home & Cemetery as my parents had already bought a plot in the cemetery years ago. My Mom had to be transported to Md from California and it was handled very well. The funeral Directors were very helpful answering all my questions and handled the paperwork in an expedient manner. Prices were also reasonable. The Funeral Home also had a Minister to preside over my Mom’s graveside service and he did a great job. He patiently waited for one last guest to arrive which made the service start about 10-15 minutes late. The Cemetery administration were also quite helpful and able to make the process less stressful. Everyone treated me with the utmost respect, kindness and compassion. Particularly because I was making arrangements long distance. I also appreciate their follow up with the family about a week after the service.
The services were beautiful! Thank you, Jacquelyn Wills, for taking such good care of our brother & Father and making sure everything ran smoothly. She and else made this difficult time in our lives a little easier for us. Your caring and thoughtfulness were appreciated. I would recommend Fort Lincoln Funeral Home services to everyone.
My Mom passed away and requested that Fort Lincoln handle her arrangements. Everything was handled professionally from the purchase of her gravesite to the planning of her service and repass. The funeral director the day of the service was so on point with every aspect of the service. Our entire family is buried at Fort Lincoln and we will continue to patronize them due to their continuous stellar service ‼️
Recently utilized services at Fort Lincoln Funeral Home for my grandfather’s home going service. The professionalism of the staff - top notch. The presentation of the life story was very unique and customized to his personality. This was something none of us had seen before and was very much appreciated by the family. From the beginning of planning the service to the day of, the staff was very caring, respectful and considerate. I would highly recommend you consider Fort Lincoln for your family’s needs.
I’m convinced that when my father made/purchased his prearranged needs for his funeral services, he must’ve been working with previous owners/counselor. The heartache of burying my father this far has been an absolute headache. I’ve buried my mother and grandparents and not ,,,,:once have I dealt with the lack of unprofessionalism, disregard for my loved one, disrespect, lack of urgency, and inconsistency. I know for a fact that my father would be rolling in his grave realizing what we are going through just to have a nice Homegoing service for him. The amount of anger and distraught this has caused is uncalled for and could’ve been avoided. No grieving family should have to be initially greeted with blatant disrespect when calling to arrange a funeral down to having to chase down counselors to make sure things are in order. I’ve dealt with being asked about the cost of living in my home state, while trying to give information about his death certificate, down to having to wait for staff to discuss their lunch options while I’m on a WebEx meeting with a counselor. I’m just appalled at how they run business. I’ve sent multiple emails but yet it seems they go unnoticed and unread unless you get a counselor on the phone who then decides to read it aloud once you ask about it. I’m honestly scared that the actual service will be a horrid experience if the pre arrangement is this bad. I’ve wanted so bad, sense my initial contact, to cancel services with them entirely but then thought about the hassle of them refunding my Father’s pre need contract. I never would’ve thought that burying a loved one would bring so much additional pain.
There is no need for introduction when it comes to Fort Lincoln ❤️ professional, staff is amazing, caring and when you are feeling at your lowest point Shanina “Nina” Willis is such a wonderful person she helps you through your difficult …
Vanessa was very helpful. She took time to go over every detail. It was a great experience. She made sure it didn't seem strange or spooky. The manager also can in to assist in finding an available location. Sge also offered me a planning booklet. Both were very pleasant people. Would highly recommend Ft Lincoln.
